If you want to linger a little longer, enjoy one of our gourmet platters, which pair perfectly with a glass of our wine. Our Cellar Door also features a selection of condiments and gifts, including the much-loved Mrs. Zema’s homemade chilli paste and olive oil.

Coonawarra is 450km from Melbourne, 370km from Adelaide and 80km inland from the Southern Ocean.

Zema Estate’s Cellar Door is located at 14944 Riddoch Highway adjacent to the township of Coonawarra, and 10km north of Penola.
Opening hours:
Monday – Friday: 9am to 5pm
Weekends & Public Holidays: 10am to 4pm
(closed Christmas Day and Good Friday).
EV charging available at Zema Estate
Zema Estate now offers electric vehicle charging at our Coonawarra Cellar Door, making it even easier to include us on your next Limestone Coast road trip.
Our Zappi three-phase EV charger provides up to 22kW AC charging with a tethered Type 2 connection. Charging speed will depend on your vehicle’s charging capabilities.
Finding the charger is easy: as you enter Zema Estate, turn right and follow the driveway, the EV charger is located on the winery wall.
While your car is charging, take a break and enjoy the warm hospitality of our family-owned Cellar Door. Discover our current-release Coonawarra wines, settle in with a gourmet platter, or walk the Coonawarra Walking Trail connecting six iconic wineries.
Conveniently located on the Riddoch Highway, Zema Estate is an ideal stop when travelling through Coonawarra or journeying between Melbourne and Adelaide. Maximum charging rate is vehicle dependent.
