Cellar Dwellers | Constellations and Cluny – Fri 3 July
Experience the magic of a Coonawarra winter night, where the skies are vast, clear and unspoilt by city lights.
Join Zema Estate for Constellations & Cluny – an intimate evening of wine, storytelling and stargazing set among the vines. The night begins in the warmth of the barrel hall with a comforting bowl of soup and a glass of Cluny.
From 6:30pm, Nick Zema will share reflections on his family’s Italian heritage in Coonawarra since 1952 – stories of land, community and a deep connection to place that continues today.
The evening then turns skyward, as local night sky enthusiast and photographer Ockert Le Roux guides guests through the stars above. Drawing on his striking astrophotography captured in the region, Ockert will share insights into the constellations and the beauty of the night sky unique to Coonawarra.
If conditions allow, guests will step outside among the vines for a relaxed stargazing experience beneath the winter sky. Settle into a bean bag, enjoy a glass of wine, and take a moment to simply look up.
As the evening settles, guests are welcome to linger with an additional glass of wine or optional dessert, enjoying the stillness and charm of Coonawarra at night.
A relaxed and memorable winter experience celebrating wine, place and the beauty above.
This event is part of Coonawarra Cellar Dwellers, running throughout July.
