Accommodation

Our commemorative dinner will be held on the October long weekend. While the long weekend is convenient for transport to Coonawarra, it also means that accommodation may be hard to find. We have listed some options in Penola and Coonawarra, Naracoorte, and Mount Gambier. Depending on demand, we will run busses to and from the event from these locations.

Penola / Coonawarra accommodation can be difficult during Cabernet Celebration month in October. Please refer to this list provided to us by the Penola Tourist Information Centre.

Naracoorte is located 27 min (41 km) via Riddoch Hwy and has several accommodation options, a return bus will be available to book.

Mount Gambier is accessible by air with REX and Qantas. Mount Gambier is just 41 min (61.6 km) from Zema Estate via Riddoch Hwy, and South Australia's second-largest city with lots of accommodation options. The Commodore or The Henty are good options and are a short 3-minute walk to the Lady Nelson Tourist Information Centre (our return bus departure location).

Transport to and from the dinner
